A new trailer released today that showcases a variety of new content for the upcoming title, Total War: Three Kingdoms. Alongside this clip is a short news story on the game’s Steam page.
The primary focus on display here is the environment. As the entirety of the trailer utilizes the in-game engine, it gives a good look into where players will be building and defending their dynasties. The landscapes are varied, with the trailer showing sizable mountains, dense jungles, and many other features, including different weather patterns with snow falling in some parts.
Another notable element of the trailer is the use of Zhuge Liang as he rides his horse through China’s diverse landscape. He will be a playable character in the game, and like many other characters in the franchise, he is based upon a real Chinese military strategist that lived in the time period this game is based upon.
