It has been a little while since the latest reveal of the innovative virtual reality visual novel Tokyo Chronos, but apparently, the floodgates are about to open.
The developers at studio MyDearest took to Twitter showcasing a lovely poster of the game (which you can find at the bottom of the post) and rekindling expectations for more details.
They mentioned that 2019 is a critical year for the game, and they aim to release something entertaining for the fans, livening it up not only within their studio but also with everyone else working on it. They plan to release three times as much info compared to what we saw in 2018.
That’s certainly promising, considering the fact that Tokyo Chronos brings virtual reality to the visual novel genre, which is in itself something rather exciting.
If you’re not familiar with the game, it’s the offspring of a crowdfunding campaign held last year, featuring the Direction of Haruki Kashiwakura of “Expelled from Paradise” fame, paired with Sword Art Online Producer Kazuma Miki, writer Kou Segawa (Konya, Kimi ni Korosareta to Shitemo), and the charming character design by LAM.
Of course, as soon as we hear something more, you’ll be able to read it here on Twinfinite.
Tokyo Chronos is set for a release in Early 2019 for PC with HTC Vive or Oculus Rift and PS4 with PlayStation VR
