Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil 2 will feel familiar to longtime fans, but it also includes plenty of new additions and twists to keep players on their toes. One of the first major areas you’ll find in the game is the West Wing of the RPD, where you’ll find a locked safe in the office. Here’s what the West Office safe code is in Resident Evil 2.

Finding the Clue to the Safe Code

If you want to do things the legit way, we can point you in the right direction. The clue to the West Office safe code can be found in the STARS Office on the second floor of the West Wing.

To get there, you’ll first need to encounter Claire or Leon in the Courtyard and get the Cutting Tool that lets you access the East Office. From there, you’ll be able to get the Round Handle.

Now, head to the second floor of the West Wing and go to the Shower Room. Use the Round Handle to turn down the steam, then follow the corridor to the STARS Office. Mind the licker.

Once in this office in Resident Evil 2, turn left to find a side room with a document giving you the clue you need.

If you want to just skip finding the clue and immediately open the safe, though, you can do that as well.

The West Wing Safe code in Resident Evil 2 is as follows: left 9, right 15, left 7.

If you input it correctly, the safe will open, rewarding you with a very valuable inventory size upgrade. Each upgrade gives you two additional inventory slots, allowing you to carry more items. This game is all about that item management, so this should come in handy.
