What the Waiting Room Safe Combination Is in Resident Evil 2

Recommended Videos

For Resident Evil 2’s big return to current gen hardware, you can expect the same focus on puzzles and secrets throughout your playthrough. Here’s what the waiting room safe combination is in Resident Evil 2 if you’re stumped.

Playing as either Leon or Claire, you’ll make it the Waiting Room fairly early in your playthrough of the game. It is the small conjoining room between the Main Hall and the areas that lead to the balcony and second-floor eastern areas of the police station.

Behind the desk on the right-hand side (if you were coming from the Main Hall), there is a safe that requires a special combination.

The clue to this combination –which you likely haven’t got if you’re reading this guide– can be found in the Observation Room, which is unlocked with the Club Key (Leon) or Heart Key (Claire).

But if you’d rather just skip the exploration and know the combination right away, the waiting room safe code is left 6, right 2, left 11.

Inside, you’ll find handgun parts for Leon/Claire’s weapon, which upgrades it to a more powerful version.

That is all you will need to know about what the waiting room safe combination is in Resident Evil 2. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to search our wiki page.
