Today Capcom released brand new artwork of the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake.
The artwork features the main characters of the game, and it’s intended to portray the tragedy unfolding in Raccoon City. You can check it out below.
It other decidedly less tragic news, a temporary collaboration bar dedicated to the game will open in Akihabara, Tokyo, from Jan. 17 to Feb 28.
It’ll be located at Bar Rhythm, part of the popular Pasela Resort chain. Customers will be able to enjoy a dedicated menu of food and drinks inspired by Resident Evil 2
You can check out the menu for the first part of the event (the second part will be revealed at a later date) in the gallery below, alongside the goodies that you’ll be able to grab at the bar. You get one point for every 1,000 yen you spend (this kind of collaboration stuff is pricey) and with three points, which is about 25 bucks, you can get one of six luncheon calendars. The design of one of them is still a secret, possibly due to spoilers.
If you want to see more of Resident Evil 2, you can play the demo currently available. You can also take a look at the latest trailer and some recent gameplay showcasing the Noir DLC and filters.
The game will release in just a couple of weeks for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Jan. 25, 2019.
