How to Get Rage Form & What It Does in Kingdom Hearts 3

Recommended Videos

Sora and his friends have more than a few moves at their disposal. On top of the variety of Keyblades and Summons, there’s Rage Form. Here’s everything you need to know about what Rage Form does and how to get it in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Sora’s Rage Form in Kingdom Hearts 3 essentially works the same as Antisora in Kingdom Hearts 2. It’s a form that can prompt at any time, regardless of what Keyblade you have equipped.

Just like the other Formchanges, though, you have to select it and hit triangle (Y if you’re playing on Xbox One) to actually activate it in battle, so you won’t be locked into the option, unlike turning into Antisora in Kingdom Hearts 2.

From what we can tell from our time with the game, the prompt seems to appear when you are low on HP or have no MP left. Its appearance isn’t certain, but being low on those two gauges seems to make it more likely.

Once in Rage Form, you have entirely different attacks and can use a special called Risktaker that halves Sora’s HP but can inflict a lot of damage on your enemies.

If you use Risktaker until you have 1HP, you can use a powerful finisher, but of course, you drastically increase your chances of being killed.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get Rage Form in Kingdom Hearts 3 and what it does. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our Kingdom Hearts 3 wiki guide.

Question: How do you get Rage Form in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Answer: You seem to have a chance of getting it when Sora is low on HP or MP, and you can press triangle/Y to get significantly more powerful abilities.
