How to Double Jump in Kingdom Hearts 3

Recommended Videos

Kingdom Hearts 3 involves plenty of platforming gameplay, which often requires some pretty deft jumps to pull off. Often, you’ll need more height than just a standard jump, though, so here’s how to double jump in Kingdom Hearts 3 for some extra distance.

First, it is worth noting that you won’t actually get the double jump ability until you reach Arendelle (Frozen World), so don’t even worry about using it until you’ve played through the story to that point.

Specifically, you’ll get an ability called “Doubleflight” after beating the boss in Arandelle.

Still, it’s not exactly obvious when you finally do get Doubleflight exactly how it works, and that’s because it’s a bit of convoluted process typical of the Kingdom Hearts series. You actually have to go into the abilities menu and equip the ability before it works.

Once that’s done, it’s simply a case of hitting Circle (B Xbox One) to jump and then once more when you’re in the air to double jump.

The doubleflight ability is handy for combat since things can get pretty hectic in Kingdom Hearts 3. You’ll often find yourself swamped by multiple enemies with a crazy amount of action on screen, so it functions as both a useful escape mechanism and a way of hitting flying baddies.

That’s all the information you should need about how to double jump in Kingdom Hearts 3. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out our wiki page.
