How to Complete Season 7 Week 5 Challenges in Fortnite
Epic Games has just released the latest set of weekly challenges for Fortnite. The week 5 challenges grant players another chance at getting 50 Battle Stars for their battle pass, as well as a chunk of XP for the season, too. Here’s how to complete all season 7 week 5 challenges in Fortnite.
What the Fortnite Week 5 Challenges Are
Just so you know that these week 5 challenges are the real deal in Fortnite, we’ve included a screenshot right out of the game for you down below.
Many of the challenges are fairly straightforward, but some of them may cause you some issues and slow you down from getting that precious secret star. Keep on reading for tips and tricks to complete each one.

- Stage 2: Dance on Top of a Ranger Tower
- Final Stage: Dance on Top of a Air Traffic Control Tower

Dealing damage to opponent structures is obviously best done with explosive weapons. However, by pickaxing the bottom of a large structure, for each piece you destroy, its health will be added to your tally for this week 5 challenge.
This is also the perfect opportunity to check out the boombox device in Fortnite, capable of destroying enemy structures with bangin’ beats.
The next of the week 5 challenges in Fortnite tasks you with landing and dancing on a variety of different towers. We’ve got the water tower, ranger tower, and air traffic control tower locations for you already with our handy guide.
Eliminating opponents from closer than 5m away is going to be best done with shotguns, considering how powerful they are at close-range. Alternatively, playing in duos or squads and eliminating downed enemies with whatever you see fit from right next to them will also work.
Suppressed weapon eliminations may be a little trickier, as you’ll only be able to use suppressed pistols or the suppressed assault rifles for this. This will ultimately come down to what your chest luck is like in Fortnite.
Next up, you’ll need to search chests at Wailing Woods or Paradise Palms. You need 7 to complete this Fortnite challenge, but these don’t all have to be gotten at once. Both of these locations will likely become very busy immediately after the challenges have gone live, so give it a day or two before diving in if you want an easy time with this challenge.
Alternatively, playing in a Team Rumble game and heading to Wailing Woods should see you have much more of the location to yourself, and if your team has the east side of the map, you’ll only have to fight against your fellow teammates.
We then see a return of the ‘Search between’ challenges to Fortnite once again, with players having to ‘Search between a giant rock man, crowned tomato, an encircled tree.’ We’ve got a guide for this exact location, too.
Rounding out the week 5 challenges in Fortnite is the most straightforward of the lot. Simply land at each of the named locations and you’ll complete it.
