The first of three trailers shows off the beautiful Pacific Northwest wilderness that Days Gone takes place in, showing us several shots of overgrown woods and snowy mountains. However, the narrator makes it known that despite its beauty, this world is dangerous.

“You’re not a tourist here. You’re fighting to survive.”

The trailer reveals the different environments and hazards that you’ll find while playing the game. Lava fields, forests, mountains, abandoned truck stops and caves are all present and all housing both freakers and marauders who are looking to kill you.

We also get to see more of the open world traversal, which involves you driving a motorcycle cross country. We see that in these drives you can encounter mass graves that have become feeding grounds for hundreds of vicious freakers.

There are six regions in Days gone, all with camps, caves and open country to explore and fight through. The trailer also talks about weather effects, with rain that can alter trails and snowy areas that “will make the freakers even stronger and more dangerous.”

If you pre-order Days Gone, you’ll receive a Drifter Crossbow as well as upgrades for your drifter bike’s Nitrous, Gas Tank, and Shroud. If you pre-order on the PlayStation Store, you’ll also receive Days Gone Sawmill Dynamic Theme immediately after your purchase.

There are two special editions for Days Gone. The first is the Digital Deluxe Edition which features a digital mini artbook, digital soundtrack, three drifter bike skins and an early skill unlock and theme.

The second is the Collector’s Edition which comes with the Deluxe Edition content as well as a Collector’s Edition Statue, a Steel Book, a set of patches, six pins, four Decals, a physical soundtrack and a 48-Page Mini-Art Book by Dark Horse Comics.

There will be two more trailers released before Days Gone releases for PS4 on April 26. Stay tuned to Twinfinite for more info on Days Gone in the future.
