Last weekend, BioWare ran Anthem’s VIP demo for EA Access subscribers and people who had pre-ordered the game, but unfortunately, players ran into quite a few problems when trying to play the demo.

Outside of multiple connection issues, an infinite load bug was prevalent and would require users to restart the game. BioWare made some improvements throughout the weekend, but a handful of known problems were still affecting people on Sunday.

This experience left many gamers concerned about this coming weekend’s open demo and the final game. Hoping to ease the worries of fans, BioWare has just put out a new blog post discussing Anthem’s open demo.

In the blog post, no specific issues from the VIP demo are referenced, but BioWare says that players should expect “significant improvement in multiple areas over last week.” They also go on to say that they “are confident that these changes will improve this weekend’s experience for players.”

There is a warning, though, that people “may see recurring and new issues,” which might leave fans uneasy about the quality of the demo until they can play it themselves. BioWare does promise that their “team will again be working around the clock to deal with any problems that arise so that all players can enjoy the game.”

At the end of the blog post, BioWare also lays out some fixes and features that did not make it into the demos but can be expected in the final game. The most significant of these are performance improvements, stability fixes, and the Launch Bay social hub.

Anyone who did not download the VIP demo last weekend can go and preload the demo before it starts on Friday. If you are planning to hop into Anthem this weekend, the demo will begin on Feb. 1 at 12 p.m. ET and run until Feb. 3 at 9 p.m. ET.

Anthem is scheduled to launch Feb. 22nd for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
