What the Ace Combat 7 PC Release Date Is
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has just launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, including VR compatibility on Sony’s console. However, PC players may be wondering when they’ll be able to hit the skies. Here’s everything you need to know about what Ace Combat 7’s PC release date is.
Bandai Namco has confirmed that Ace Combat 7 will come to Windows PCs on Feb. 1, 2019, just a couple of weeks after the release of the console versions. So if you were waiting, you shouldn’t have to for too long.
No exact reason has been given as to why the PC version is being released later than the console versions, but at least it’s not a wait of months like for some other titles, or not coming at all like a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The VR missions, however, are not available on PC straight away. They are exclusive to the PlayStation 4 version for one year, so you’ll have to pick up a PSVR headset to experience the game in VR from the get go. They will come to PC VR headsets at a later date, though.
In our review, we said that the game “finally fulfills the expectations of those players from my generation who loved Ace Combat 04 and 5, bringing the series back to its roots in a masterful way.”
