Today Sega released a batch of brand new screenshots of the upcoming Yakuza-meets-Ace Attorney game Project Judge.
The screenshots showcase a variety of aspects of gameplay, starting with the features of the smartphone that we’ll be able to use within the game.
First of all, we have a camera, which can take pictures and apply various filters like sepia or monochrome. On top of that, by scanning QR codes scattered around Kamurocho it’s possible to unlock battle skills and drone parts.
The KAMGO app lets you check the progression for in-game achievements, the completion of stores’ menus and of missions through which you can receive skill points.
The Cloud Kanpa App lets you invest in various projects to receive related benefits. In Project Judge you can even build a huge building in a corner of Kamurocho. The phone also lets you purchase DLC.
We then get to see Yagami’s office, which includes various features. Making friends with the landlady will prompt her to leave regular home-cooked dishes in our refrigerator. Deepening the bond will yield more luxurious dishes.
Toys won at UFO Catchers or capsule vendors can be used to decorate the office. Lastly, shopping at a convenient score lets you accumulate points that can be used to acquire records that can be listened through the player in the office.
You can check out all the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can also check out the opening cutscene, the full version of the theme song, and a recent batch of screenshots. You can also download the brand new demo from the Japanese PlayStation Store.
Project Judge releases exclusively for PS4 on Dec. 13 in Japan and next year in North America and Europe.
