One Piece: World Seeker Shows its Open World and Battle in New PS4 Gameplay

One Piece: World Seeker

Today, during a stage event at Jump Festa hosted at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, Bandai Namco showcased a brand new look at One Piece: World Seeker.

We get to see plenty of gameplay played on PS4 starting in a massive city that Luffy can traverse by floating and grappling around thanks to his powers. When he turns into his Gear Fourth form, he can actually fly freely for a while.

Of course, there are plenty of enemies to fight as well, providing chances to see Luffy’s battle abilities. This includes a boss fighting against Germa 66.

Interestingly, the game seems to have come a long way since when I played a demo at Gamescom 2018. Especially combat used to be a bit clunky, but now it appears to work much better from what I can see.

You can check out all the videos below. If you want to see more, you can watch a gameplay trailer from yesterday, alongside the opening cutscene, some recent screenshots showing off Luffy’s Gear Fourth form, and another trailer.

One Piece: World Seeker will finally be released on March 15, 2019, in North America and Europe for Ps4, Xbox One, and PC.
