New Left Alive Livestream by Square Enix Will Detail Story and Gameplay

If you want to know more about the story and gameplay behind Square Enix’s Left Alive, you don’t have much longer to wait, as the Japanese arm of the publisher will host a new livestream on the game soon.

To be precise, the broadcast will happen on December 12th at 8:00 PM Japan Time, and it will star Game Director Toshifumi Nabeshima (who many know for his work on the Armored Core series).

Nabeshima-san will share information about the game’s story, its worldview, and the gameplay. Producer Shinji Hashimoto will also be in attendance to provide more details and help to host.

If you’re not familiar with Left Alive, the game was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2017, and then disappeared from the spotlight until this year, when Square Enix finally showcased the first gameplay.

One of the most interesting elements of the game is certainly the character design by Metal Gear Solid artist Yoji Shinkawa, which gives Left Alive a rather unmistakable look and feel.

The game will prompt the player to take control of three survivors in a city under siege, and it’s set in the same universe as Square Enix’s classic tactical JRPG Front Mission.

Left Alive will release in Japan on Feb. 28, 2019, for PS4 and PC, and it’ll come west on March 5 for the same platforms. You can also watch the latest trailer.
