The game is a fighting game developed in Unreal Engine 4 by Arc System Works based on the Granblue Fantasy IP, and it looks just as awesome and crazy as you imagine.

The music handled by Stella Magna, and the main composer is Tsutomu Narita, who worked on the original Granblue Fantasy and the anime series, Final Fantasy XV’s expansion Comrades, and helped arrange Xenoblade Chronicles. Hideo Minaba and his colleagues at CyDesignation will, of course, take care of the character design.

A story mode will be included and the developers on stage promised plenty of single-player content, also teasing eSport support. This isn’t surprising considering that Cygames boasts a solid involvement in the eSport scene, even sponsoring its own team.

You can check the trailer out below.  The game will be released in 2019 for PS4.

If you’re not familiar with the Granblue Fantasy IP, it’s an extremely popular mobile JRPG by Cygames, featuring a deep story and high-quality production values including art by Hideo Minaba and music by Nobuo Uematsu.

During the same event, we learned the official title of Granblue Fantasy Relink also for PS4 and saw some really spectacular gameplay.

Last, but not least, you can also take a gander at new official screenshots.
