A lot of Fortnite’s week 2 challenges don’t really require much of an explanation. For searching chests in different named locations, go for the quieter spots such as Junk Junction, Lonely Lodge, Wailing Woods, Haunted Hills, Lucky Landing, and Lazy Links to nab an easy six. The other one you’ll need to brave the busier locales.
Damaging opponents with different types of weapons will require you to use things like an Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Sniper, SMG, and some explosive weapon or pistol to get one elimination with each. Eliminating opponents in Snobby Shores or Fatal Fields is straightforward enough.
There’s another of the staged challenges we’ve seen recently in Fortnite tasking players with visiting two different named locations in a single match. Use vehicles such as Quadcrushers, ATKs, or even a plane to cut down the distance. Balloons are also pretty handy for traversing large distances quickly.
Then we come to the meat of Fortnite’s week 2 challenges. To play the sheet music on pianos near Pleasant Park and Lonely Lodge, you simply have to land at these locations, read the music that’s on the stands, and jump onto the correct notes. The one at Pleasant Park actually plays a lovely rendition of Jingle Bells, and can be found on the mountain directly west of Pleasant Park. The Lonely Lodge piano plays 12 Days of Christmas, and can be found just to the north of the old superhero house, also known as the abandoned mansion.
To compete in a dance off at an abandoned mansion in Fortnite, you’re going to first need to track the dance floor within an abandoned mansion down, and then dance on the lit-up squares on the floor while another players does the same. This is best done with a teammate, but you can check out our guide here for the exact location.
Finally, you’ll need to eliminate an opponent from 50 meters or more away. The Hunting Rifle and snipers are your best options for these, however, players with a steady aim can always pick players off with a Hand Cannon or Assault Rifle.
That’s everything you need to know to complete all of Fortnite’s Season 7 week 2 challenges. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the current season of the battle royale title, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 7 guide wiki.
