Among concerns focused on quality Fallout 76 and Bethesda have been recently hit by controversy due to… a canvas bag.
As we reported a few days ago, one of the items advertised within the Power Armor Edition of the game was a West Tek Canvas carrying bag. What customers got is instead a much cheaper nylon bag.
This caused a storm of complaints that climaxed when gamers learned that the promised canvas bags were provided for free to influencers at a preview event for the game.
Bethesda initially offered 500 atoms (the equivalent of $5) to those who purchased the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition as compensation, but apparently, it wasn’t enough. Today the publisher announced on Twitter that those who got the rather expensive box ($200) are able to fill a form on the official site, and will receive new bags as soon as they are manufactured. This time, they’re made of actual canvas.
We are finalizing manufacturing plans for replacement canvas bags for the Fallout 76: Power Armor Edition. If you purchased the CE, please visit https://t.co/S5ClEZuQrx and submit a ticket by Jan. 31, 2019. We’ll arrange to send you a replacement as soon as the bags are ready.
