How to Change to Original Music in Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Recommended Videos

Chances are that if you’ve bought the Spyro Reignited Trilogy then you’re keen to take a nostalgia-fueled trip back to your childhood. The game packs in the iconic purple dragon’s first three adventures into a single disc, complete with remastered visuals, controls, and music. However, if you want the ultimate nostalgia trip, you’ll definitely want the memorable original music, then, so here’s how to change to original music in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

First things first, yes, you can listen to the original soundtrack as you play through the trilogy – so you can breathe a sigh of relief on that front. Actually, toggling between the original and new music isn’t particularly hard.

The trilogy will let you toggle between the remade soundtrack and the original whenever you want. To do so, simply open the menu with the Options button on PS4 or the Menu button on Xbox One. Cycle down to Options, then select Sound. From here, you’ll see an option that says Music, and clicking it will toggle between Reignited and Original.

While you have the Reignited soundtrack selected, you can also toggle dynamic music on and off. This functionality works for all three games in the collection.

However, from our time with Spyro Reignited Trilogy, the dynamic music option isn’t all that noticeable when enabled. This essentially contextualizes the music based on what’s going on in the game. For example, if you’re just running about exploring, it’s calmer. Whereas, if you’re fighting enemies, things get a little more intense. It’s not a huge change, but turning dynamic music off will ensure things stay at the same pace and tone throughout the level regardless of what’s happening.

So there you have it: Journey back to your childhood complete!

That’s all you need to know about how to change to original music in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. For more useful information and guides on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite.
