If you’re looking at getting every single trophy and achievement that Red Dead Redemption 2 has to offer, you’re going to need to spend some time in Red Dead Online. With a massive open world map for you to go about and explore either on your own or with friends, there’s an absolute ton of activities for you to take part in. One of which, of course, is hunting. For the ‘Butchered’ trophy and achievement, you’ll need to know where butchers are. Here’s where to sell items to a butcher in Red Dead Online.

First things first, let’s run you through what you need to do for the ‘Butchered’ trophy and achievement in Red Dead Online. It’s pretty simple really, tasking you with selling 20 items to a butcher. A butcher will only take things like pelts or the meats of animals that you’ve hunted.

If you have any hunting-related rewards, chances are a butcher will take them off your hands. Now that you know which items you can sell to these NPCs, it’s time to point out their locations for you.

Butchers can be spotted on your map by looking out for the meat cleaver icon. That’s the giant knife-looking thing, in case you’re not familiar with them. We’ve also included a screenshot of where to find these icons and what they look like on your map in Red Dead Online down below.

Red Dead Online butcher location, butchers

The one that we went to in Red Dead Online to start grinding out this trophy and achievement was the one in Valentine, purely because it was the closest one to us. Once you arrive at the butcher icon on your map, you should see an NPC stood by a stand outside with signs about buying and selling meat.

Simply walk on over to him, and press and hold LT on Xbox One or L2 on PS4, and then press and hold right on the d-pad to sell items.

That’s pretty much all you need to know about where to sell items to a butcher in Red Dead Online so you can get the achievement and trophy.
