Can You Take a Bath in Red Dead Online? What You Need to Know

Recommended Videos

There’s not much room for hygiene in the Wild West, especially when you’re off pulling heists and doing missions. While Arthur has the luxury of taking actual baths, here’s everything you need to know about taking baths in Red Dead Online.

Taking a bath in Red Dead Redemption 2 was a great way to get cleaned up after rolling around in the dirt. You could head on over to a hotel in town and pay a small fee to get washed up. On top of that, you also get a fresh set of clothes to start your next journey.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like you can take baths in Red Dead Online. There are no options that let you get cleaned up in a tub at any hotels. That said, you can also forget about any communal baths with other players.

If you’re worried about your character getting too dirty, there are still a few things you can do. Since hygiene isn’t as big of a factor in Red Dead Online, you can still try to stay clean by soaking yourself out in the rain. Sure, it isn’t as functional as bathing in a tub, but it’s one way to stay fresh in Red Dead Online.

If you’re looking for a new set of clothes, you can still change your outfit. To do this, open your map and look for the Tailor (marked with a little jacket icon). Head on over to the nearest establishment and change your clothes for free at any time.

Another way you can change your clothes is head back to your camp and go through your wardrobe. There will be a few outfits you can choose from to stay nice and clean in Red Dead Online.

It’s unclear whether we’ll get a bath option in the near future, but we’ll be sure to update this post if that ever changes. That pretty much wraps up everything you need to know about baths in Red Dead Online. If you’re looking for a few more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
