Pokemon Let’s Go: How to Get to the Power Plant

How to Get to the Power Plant in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee

Recommended Videos

The Power Plant is a location that houses the legendary electric Pokemon Zapdos. It’s not an area that you visit at any point throughout your main quest, however, so here’s how to get the Power Plant in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.

For anyone who has visited Kanto in any of its previous iterations, it’s in the exact same spot that it has always been in. For those who are on their first journey through Kanto or for people that may have forgotten, let’s break it down.

The first thing to note is that the Power Plant isn’t accessible early on in the game. Although you come close to it at one point, it isn’t possible to reach it until you have the Sea Skim secret technique.

Sea Skim can be learned from the man with the surfboard in Fuchsia City. More details can be found here.

There is an alternative option, which is to have a rideable Pokemon that you can fly on, such as Charizard or Aerodactyl. After you beat the game, these Pokemon can fly up higher and cross over large bodies of water. However, this will take more work than getting Sea Skim and isn’t entirely necessary.

Once you have your means of moving across the water, travel to Route 10, and then make your way towards the Pokemon Center on the east side.

To the right of the Pokemon Center, there is a large stream. Walking up to the water and pressing the A button will allow you to use Sea Skim. Once in the water, follow it downward, then around to the left. Eventually, you’ll hit a small island with the Power Plant.

Once again, here are the steps for how to get to the Power Plant in Pokemon Let’s Go:

  • Acquire the Sea Skim secret technique.
  • Head on over to Route 10, and make your way to the Pokemon Center on the east side.
  • Surf southward down the river and around the corner to the small island with the Power Plant.

Best of luck catching Zapdos!
