Pokemon Let’s Go is a complete overhaul of the iconic Pokemon Yellow. It updates the game’s graphics and introduces some cool new mechanics, one of which is customization options for your trainer. Here’s how to change clothes & outfits in Pokemon Let’s Go.

Thanks to the game’s more detailed graphics, you’re able to customize the appearance of your trainer and Pokemon in a few different ways. It’s all super easy and it allows you to add a nice personal touch to your journey to catch em’ all.

You can change your clothes and outfits at any time during the game. Simply press X to bring up the menu, choose the Bag menu option, and then cycle over to Clothing Trunk. From here, you can customize clothing for your character or partner Pokemon (Pikachu/Eevee).

You can then choose between Hats, Outerwear, Pants, Shoes, and Bags for your trainer. The last option, Switch to [Pokemon Name], let’s you customize your Pokemon’s Outfit. The options on offer there are Hats, Glasses, Clothes, and Accessories.

We’re still working through the game finding new clothes and outfits, but here’s two examples we’ve located:

How to Get the Sailor Outfit

Vermilion City is the location you’ll want to head toward for the Sailor Outfit set, which can be applied to both trainer and Pokemon. Once you’ve arrived, wander over to the Vermilion Port and look for the pier leading leading to the ship S.S. Anne. You’ll see a sailor who will give you the set after a brief conversation.

How to Get the Pikachu Set Outfit

Again, Vermilion City is where you’ll find this cool outfit for Pikachu. The Chairman of the Pokemon Fan Club is the character who has the suit, and he’s also typically found in his pink house in the Vermillion Port area. After you’ve spoken with him he’ll hand it over.

That’s all you need to know about how to change clothes & outfits in Pokemon Let’s Go. For more useful information and handy guides on the game, be sure to check out our Pokemon Let’s Go wiki page.
