Today Sony Interactive Entertainment released a brand new trailer of the upcoming mini-console PlayStation Classic.
The trailer features a rather wacky animation inspired by the twenty games pre-loaded into the console, from Battle Arena Toshinden to Tekken 3, passing by R4 Ridge Racer Type 4, Rayman, Twisted Metal, Metal Gear Solid, and more.
In the end, it closes with the motto “play history make history.” It’ll be certainly interesting to see how the console fares, considering that it’s following a rather strong trend started by Nintendo and followed suit by SNK.
The list of games includes a nice degree of variety, but it’s up to you to decide whether they’re on the same level as those featured in the Japanese version of the mini-console. Since you’re at it, you might also decide whether the western trailer compares or falls flat.
You can check out the trailer below and see if the music gets stuck in your head.
The PlayStation Classic will release worldwide on December 3rd, hopefully bringing joy to those who loved the original, and maybe to some new fans that are too young to have purchased the old and glorious grey box back when it was released between 1994 and 1995.
