The Overwatch hero has a well-rounded kit that focuses more on mechanical skill rather than her abilities. She’s also the game’s fourth sniper, following Widowmaker, Hanzo, and Ana. Her main mode of mobility and escape is her Coach Gun, which she can also use to propel herself to high ground.
The Viper is a fast gun with a fairly minimal spread, making it great for mid-ranged combat when unscoped. While she can’t one-shot her enemies, the Overwatch hero can actually quick scope like Ana.
She doesn’t have to worry about charge time, making it easy for her to switch between scoping and firing from the hip. Moreover, she can also use her gun to detonate the dynamite herself making for an extremely useful zoning tool on the Overwatch battlefield. Her abilities make her a great sniper that can catch enemies out of position.
Those who want to test her out can download the PTR right now while console players will have to hold out for a bit longer. For more tips and tricks on Ashe and Overwatch, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Overwatch wiki.
