How to Get a Power Armor Station in Fallout 76

Recommended Videos

If you have been putting some time into Fallout 76, chances are you have run across a set of power armor or have at least seen some other players running around with it equipped. However, unlike some of the other basic crafting stations, building a power armor station is not something you can set up in your CAMP by default – you’ll need to find the plans to construct the station before you can build it. Luckily, getting the blueprint for this structure is easy, so read on for our guide on how to get the power armor station in Fallout 76.

How to Get the ‘Miner Miracles’ Quest and Get the Power Armor Station in Fallout 76

In order to get this blueprint in Fallout 76, you’ll need to complete a side quest titled Miner Miracles. This quest can be found when you reach the Garrahan Mining Headquarters, found to the northeast of the Ash Heap region.

Once you discover this locale, Miner Miracles should be added to your quest log as a side quest. However, though you may get this quest earlier, in order to craft the armor as part of it (see below), you’ll need to be level 25.

Take out any surrounding enemies, then head into the building, but be cautious, as the place has fragmentation mines scattered about. These can be deactivated if you find them before they go off to net yourself some bonus XP and the mine itself, but if you hear the beeping, you should get clear before the explosion does some serious damage to your survivor.

Once you reach the back end of the building, you’ll find a terminal you can access to view the ‘Memo: Excavator Queries’ file among some others. From this terminal, hop over to the project manager terminal towards the east side of the building and read the ‘Excavator Module Blueprints’.

Crafting the Excavator Power Armor & Getting the Power Armor Station in Fallout 76

This will start the meat of this Fallout 76 quest, which consists of actually crafting the Excavator Power Armor at the nearby power armor station. The armor looks pretty rad, but you’ll need to gather a fair amount of resources in order to complete it.

Each piece of the power armor requires different materials, the rarest of which are Black Titanium and Nuclear Material.

Once you use the power armor station and craft all of these pieces, you’ll officially have your own set of Excavator Power Armor! Most importantly, you can finish the quest by heading back to the headquarters and pressing the button on the east side to register it with the system.

Doing this will complete the quest in Fallout 76, and among the quest rewards will be a power armor station blueprint so you can make your very own power armor station at your campsite or workshop. This workstation enables you to mod the individual parts of it and make it stronger than ever before.

That’s all you need to know to get yourself a power armor station in Fallout 76! You’ll now be able to show off your fancy new power armor as well as mod it to your heart’s content. For more info on power armor locations, check out our guide on how to get power armor in Fallout 76.
