Where Camp McClintock’s Location Is in Fallout 76

Fallout 76 has an absolute ton of different locations for you to uncover as you amble around Appalachia. Here’s where Camp McClintock’s location is in Fallout 76 so you can track it down easily.

Some areas in Fallout 76 are just distractions for you to enjoy as you go about on your adventure, while others are actually pretty important for you to discover as part of the main quest line. Camp McClintock falls into the latter bunch but is also a pretty handy location for farming crafting materials, too.

If you’re starting out at Vault 76, you don’t actually have all that far to travel. You want to head in a south-southeasterly direction. This should guide you through the Flatwoods area of Fallout 76’s The Forest opening area of the map.

When you reach the New River Gorge bridge, however, you’ll want to veer off in an eastern direction, rather than crossing it down towards Cow Spots Creamery.

For your own convenience, we’ve included a screenshot of Camp McClintock’s location on our map in Fallout 76 down below.

Fallout 76, Camp McClintock location

Camp McClintock can be found randomly in the middle of a forest area with little else really surrounding it when you’re out exploring. By discovering it, you’ll add the ‘Back to Basics’ quest to your list. This can be completed at any time you feel like you’re capable of taking it on, but it must be finished before the ‘Recruitment Blues’ main quest can be started.

We’re not going to say much more to avoid any possible spoilers, but just be warned, if you do try taking it on earlier on in your adventure, there’s a level 22 enemy you’ll need to take on as part of this that’ll sponge up all of your ammo if you’re not a high enough level.

And that’s pretty much everything you need to know to track down Camp McClintock’s location in Fallout 76. For more tips, tricks, and guides for your adventures across the West Virginia wasteland, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Fallout 76 guide wiki.
