Things are about to get even spookier with the new DLC costumes for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. In two new videos released by Capcom this week, we got to see some footage of the costumes in action.
The first, a ‘Noir’ costume for Claire shows her wearing a hat, shirt, and suspenders reminiscent of the 1940’s time period. It seems like a Noir filter can be applied to the game, as well, which changes the color scheme to black and white.
The second, Leon’s ‘Arklay Sheriff’ costume, shows Leon in just that: a sheriff’s uniform, with hat, badge, and all. Both of these costumes are a part of the deluxe edition of Resident Evil 2.
This news comes out just after last week’s announcement of Claire’s Military DLC outfit, also included in the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
The Resident Evil 2 Remake Deluxe Edition retails for $69.99 and will include exclusive costumes, an in-game Albert Model Samurai Edge handgun, and the option of switching to the original 1998 game’s soundtrack (that’s pretty rad). Since the Deluxe Edition will only be $10 more than the regular, it might be worth it to grab, especially with all the goodies you’ll get.
Whichever version you choose, get ready, because Resident Evil 2 Remake releases for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Jan 25, 2019.
