Red Dead Redemption 2 is an incredible game. It’s vast, sprawling, alive and features incredibly memorable characters that keep you relishing in the Wild West for dozens and dozens of hours.

The story Rockstar tells in the game is unforgettable and full of empathy, which is quite surprising in a Rockstar game. After all, gameplay and how the player interacts with the world usually comes first.

For all that it does right, though, it has some imperfections. By no means is it a perfect game, but in a lot of ways, it’s pretty damn close. What about the moments in the game where the systems it’s built upon fail to laugh-out-loud effects?

Here are 10 hilarious bugs that show Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t perfect.

Here’s Arthur, just walking into the Sheriff’s Office to pick up a bounty and lo and behold, the Sheriff and one of his lawmen are doing this. Exactly what “this” is we’ll leave up to you. Regardless though, interpersonal relationships at work are almost never a good thing ā€” and lock the door at least.

Man, my time with Red Dead Redemption 2 would have been a lot easier if I learned to phase shift like this player did. Some kind of wizardry going on here ā€” must be a tonic or something.

3. In the end, the horse’s heart was with her, not Arthur. (SPOILERS)

Here with this bug we have the classic case of betrayal. For hours, Arthur and this horse have bonded through the best of times and the worst of times in the Wild West.

In the end, though, the horse had to be honest with itself. Its heart wasn’t with Arthur. Sadly, the horse never made it onto that train to be with his one true love.

4. Red Dead Revolver 2.0.

One Reddit user found this very clear homage to the series’ origins: Red Dead Revolver. I can’t wait to find the outfit that let’s you do this. Unlimited 360 no scopes, am I right?

5. Rockstar obviously took some inspiration from Nintendo.

Here, we can see that Rockstar took some inspiration from Splatoon. This might be a tease at a game mode in Red Dead Online where players will have to paint a train white by slamming their horse into it. Brutal, but it’d certainly be unique.

6. Couldn’t stick the landing ā€” 4/10.

The execution here is nearly perfect (I mean, look at those flips). It’s a shame Arthur couldn’t stick the landing, though.

7. Remember, we’re in their territory.

OK this one is not necessarily a bug, but we’re pretty sure that Rockstar didn’t draw up this stranger request this way.

As much as the Wild West and the wilderness within feels like our playground, our world to live in, it’s simply not. If this video is any indication, it belongs to the deer who have elected the buck in this video to be their leader.

9. Finally found the rodeo.

You’d think one of the many towns within the game would host the rodeo. Instead, you have to start at this creek and perform in the sky. Unreal expectations in video games these days, I tell ya.

10. R.I.P to this one bird.

Once we get back to a saloon, we’ll poor one out for you, bird. If it makes you feel any better, you’ll live on in our stew and in the form of a fancy new satchel.
