Ghost Ramp, a website dedicated to apparel, vinyl’s, and other video game-related memorabilia, has announced a limited edition two-disc vinyl for the Night in the Woods official soundtrack.
Night in the Woods is a darling little indie gem that originally released last year and was met with nothing but positive reception. The game puts you in the shoes of Mae, a cat in her early 20’s who drops out of college and then returns home to stay with her parents, reconnecting with her old best friends, only to find out that everyone grew up and changed, while she hasn’t.
The title came to the Switch just earlier this year and I praised just how well it fit on Nintendo’s handheld console and how playing it felt like I was cuddling up with a good book. It reminded me about my hometown and that placid feeling of going back somewhere that feels familiar yet so different at the same time. It hit home for me and the soundtrack itself was brilliant and truly set the tone for the entirety of the experience.
The vinyl comes with over 35 tracks and is now available for pre-order on the website for $45. Ghost Ramp plans on shipping them out sometime in the last half of Q1 2019, which falls around March.
