Nowadays, the weapons in Assassin’s Creed games involve more than just the classic Hidden Blade. There are each of every type imaginable across the series, from guns to spears. Also, with the shift towards RPG mechanics in the last two games in the series, you’re now often able to upgrade the weapons you get. Knowing how to upgrade weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is important. This is because it gives you a better chance of surviving as your explore Ancient Greece. So that you can do so, here is everything you need to know about how to upgrade weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
What you need to do to is head to the blacksmith. This guy can be found in most if not all of the major towns within the game. You need to follow the icon that’s a hammer striking an anvil.
Once you’re there and you have begun to talk to him, you need to choose the Upgrade option.
As you play through the game, you will amass a collection of axes, spears, swords, and more. Each of them has a rarity and level of their own. However, they do not necessarily become completely useless once you begin to level up Alexios or Kassandra.
Doing this makes it so that they become equal to your current player level. It’s perfect if you’ve found an item that you like the look of a lot, for example. Or that is just more powerful thanks to the buffs it has.
Simply head to the blacksmith and make the weapon you enjoy using the same level as Kassandra or Alexios currently is.
Of course, it’s not free. If you want to get your weapons beefed up, you’ll need to have money and resources. The amount of money and resources you need changes depending on the weapon you’re trying to upgrade and what level it is going to. You’ll simply have to check what’s needed once you get to the blacksmith and try to buy it.
