How to Make Your Ship Crew Sing in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

There are several different easter eggs and features to uncover in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, ranging from easy to difficult to unlock. Luckily, figuring out how to make your ship crew sing is one of the easier ones.

Set in ancient Greece, the game lets players loose in a world full gameplay options to choose from. They can leap and climb around on ancient architecture, explore the seas in search of long lost cities and do battle with armies in historic clashes. That’s to say nothing of the main story. In it, players set out on a mission for revenge against a mysterious individual who killed their entire family.

Along the way, there are plenty of details, easter eggs, and small bonuses to uncover. This ranges from petting cats and animals to finding small nods to history by the developers. While some require input to uncover, others occur randomly and without input from the player. One of these is when you hear your ship crew sing, raising their spirits on a long voyage from home.

Of course, you might be wondering if you need to do something to make them do this in the game. The answer to that is a resounding no. You’ll get to hear your crew sings all on their own as the ship sails. Instead, you can focus your attention on the discovery of new lands, and keep an eye peeled for enemy vessels and long-lost cities among the waves.

If they’re not singing a tune for you, though, you can make them do it if you want to hear that ol’ shanty. Hold right on the d-pad and you’ll hear Barnabas call out to them. It works a lot like a radio changer in GTA, or something. If you want them to shut up, use the d-pad, too.
