How to Change Clothes & Outfits in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
With the release of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Ubisoft is putting more of an effort into establishing the RPG elements in the series, and giving players more freedom with regards to story progression and exploration. In addition to that, players also have the option to customize their appearance, mostly through the ability to change clothes and equipment, which also alters their character appearance. With that in mind, here’s what you need to know to change clothes and outfits in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
The only way to do this is by finding new armor and gear that you can equip from the menu. Gear and armor pieces can be dropped by regular enemies after you defeat them.
You can also get them by looting chests in forts and bandit camps. You can also hunt down mercenaries and cultists, as both types of enemies have a much higher chance of dropping more loot, and at a higher rarity tier as well.
Once you’ve gotten your hands on a new piece of gear, you’re almost ready. First, bring up the game menu and head over to the Inventory tab.
From here, use your cursor to hover over the piece of gear you want to change. Tap the X button (or the A button on Xbox One), then select the new piece of armor you want to equip.
You’ll be able to see your character’s updated appearance in both the menu and in-game.
It’s worth noting, though, that your character will not have their helmet or head piece on during cutscenes, all so you can admire their pretty face during those key moments.
