Can You Romance Characters in Valkyria Chronicles 4? What You Need to Know

Recommended Videos

Valkyria Chronicles 4 takes players through the events of the Second European War once more. This time, however, we’re seeing it from a different perspective than we did in the original title all those years ago. Players will follow the commander of Squad E, as they lead a last-ditch effort to tip the balance of war in the Federation’s favor known as Operation Northern Cross. There are new combat scenarios to overcome with your strategic prowess, and new characters to get to know and follow along their adventure. As such, some players may be wondering if it’s possible to romance characters in Valkyria Chronicles 4, or if you can get two of your units to blossom a beautiful relationship.

Well, we’ve got some good and bad news when it comes to romance in Valkyria Chronicles 4. Let’s get the bad news out of the way first. The game doesn’t allow for you to start a romantic relationship between two different characters of your choosing, nor does it allow you to pursue a romance of any sort.

However, for those of you that just can’t help but enjoy some romantic moments in their video games, Valkyria Chronicles 4 does have a central romance that plays out as the story progresses. We’re not going to dive into specifics about this in the game, but it should hopefully satiate your need for some lovey-dovey moments amidst the tanks and horrors of war. We don’t blame you for wanting to brighten things up!

And that’s all you need to know regarding any romance options in Valkyria Chronicles 4. Hopefully, the central romance that plays out in the story will be enough to keep you happy.
