How to Swim in Spider-Man PS4

Here’s all you need to know about how to swim in Spider-Man PS4.

The year may be over for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Spider-Man PS4 still brings all that Marvel goodness in video game form. This time around Peter Parker is no stranger to the role of Spidey, as he’s had years of experience, and the game even starts with him finally bringing down Kingpin.

Of course, this means that he has plenty of abilities and skills under his belt to help you fight of supervillains, as well as get around the city of New York. Considering you’re in New York and moving at high speeds, there’s a good chance you’ll need to know how to swim, in case you find yourself in hot water, literally.

Unlike some open-world games, Spidey won’t die if he hits the water, however, swimming certainly isn’t his strong suit. You can move around in the water, but there’s no way to go faster than one speed.

This means that if you do fall in the water, your best bet is to simply jump out and web away by pressing X or L2+R2.

Of course, you’ll need to be close to some object that your web can attach to, so just keep that in mind.

It should be fairly easy to find something nearby to attach your web to, especially considering the wide range of options the game’s traversal system gives you. Spiders have really never been known for swimming, so best to just keep poor Spidey out of the water.
