How to Greet Citizens (Spider-Man About Town Trophy) in Spider-Man PS4

Here’s all you need to know about how to greet citizens in Spider-Man PS4 for the Spider-Man About Town trophy.

It’s been a big year for Marvel with the huge success of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. Now video games are getting in on the action, with Insomniac’s Spider-Man releasing on PS4. Fans have been waiting a long time for this adaption of Spidey, which gives us an older Peter Parker, more comfortable and experienced in his role as a superhero.

He’s really fallen into that role as a Friendly Neighborhood superhero, and Insomniac has looped that idea directly into gameplay, letting you greet and interact with the citizens of New York. There’s even a trophy for doing so.

In order to greet citizens, all you need to do is press square when next to one. This’ll make Spidey either give them finger guns, a high five, or any other number of actions.

Of course, keep in mind you’ll need to not be in combat and walking around the streets. It’s a fun little way Insomniac puts you into the shoes of the hero, and it certainly isn’t the only way.

Fast travel involves Spidey hopping aboard the New York subway in suit and all, hopping on his phone and interacting with the locals.

In order to actually get the trophy, however, it won’t be enough to just greet one citizen. Oh no, you’ll need to go around and interact with ten different citizens in order to get the trophy to pop. He is a friendly neighborhood Spidey after all, so he’ll need to talk to the whole neighborhood.

That’s all you need to know about greeting citizens in Spider-Man PS4, and getting the Spider-Man About Town trophy. For even more tips and guides on the game, make sure to take a look at our expansive wiki guide.
