Fortnite’s Season 5 is coming to an end, and thus players can finally dig into the week 9 challenges to earn those all-important tiers for your Battle Pass. While the challenges have been delayed a little bit this week, they’re not all that difficult, so it shouldn’t take you long to get all 50 Battle Stars on offer. As is always the case with Fortnite challenges, the week 9 set tasks players with going on yet another treasure hunt, using the Shifty Shafts treasure map to track down the hidden location. Here’s where the Shifty Shafts treasure location is in Fortnite Battle Royale.

While you could go and try and find the treasure map for yourself in Shifty Shafts, we’ve got a better idea for you. Simply follow our instructions down below and head right towards the Shifty Shafts treasure location. We won’t tell anyone if you don’t.

Shifty Shafts’ treasure map will actually direct you to the mountain just to the southwest of Dusty Divot. You’re going to want to head here, and try and land on the south side of this mountain. It’s the one with all of the different ‘layers’ so to speak, and you’re going to want to land on the southern-most layer next with the tree on it. Land next to this tree, and the Shifty Shafts treasure map battle star will appear before you, right next to the edge of the cliff. It’s also worth warning you that just off this cliff with the tree is a weapon spawn next to the tents, so just watch out for anyone else landing with you.

That’s all you need to know to get the Shifty Shafts treasure for the Season 5 week 9 challenges in Fortnite Battle Royale. For more tips, tricks, and information on the current season, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
