When Fortnite Season 6 Starts
Update: Today, Epic Games revealed that Fortnite Season 6 starts a little later than initially expected. Season 6 will now begin on Sept. 27.
Fortnite Season 5 is now in its final week, meaning it won’t be long until it will finally end. As each season ends, however, a new one will take its place with a completely different theme. While Season 4 tackled both heroes and villains, the current season has been about a mishmash of worlds colliding. That said, fans might be wondering when the developers will officially roll out Fortnite Season 6.
From what we know, Fortnite Season 5 is slated to end in 18 days, as shown on the Battle Pass tab. That means players have around three more weeks to complete the weekly challenges, save up V-Bucks, unlock the cosmetics, and prep for the upcoming season. As for Fortnite Season 6, Epic Games hasn’t revealed an official release date as of the moment. However, from what we’ve seen in the past, it’s pretty safe to say that we will see Fortnite Season 6 the day after they wrap up Worlds Collide. Epic Games will also shake things up with some new content, although they’ve been pretty tight-lipped about what they have in store. Still, they’ve been dropping some mysterious new hints around the map, including that strange purple cube floating around. There’s no telling what that menacing block has in store for Fortnite Season 6.
That said, Fortnite Season 6 will probably come with another Battle Pass, meaning there’ll be a whole new slew of cosmetics to collect. There could also be a big chance that the developers will be expanding the map with yet another zone and possibly bring in another vehicle. Whatever the case, expect that large purple cube to play a big part in what’s to come.
