Fortnite Season 5: Week 9 Secret Battle Star (Banner) Location

Where the Week 9 Secret Battle Star (Banner) Location is in Fortnite Battle Royale

For the first seven weeks of Fortnite Season 5, players were able to seek out a secret battle star that would grant them an entire tier on their Battle Pass. It was great! But then the Road Trip challenges were done and things changed. Week 8 offered up a secret banner for players to find, still granting some bonuses, but they weren’t quite as awesome. Well, it turns out that there’s also a week 9 secret battle banner to be uncovered across the map, and it’s safe to say Epic Games is certainly playing into the mystery of the giant, purple cube. Here’s where you can find the week 9 secret battle banner in Fortnite Season 5.

First and foremost, you’re going to want to make sure that you’ve got some materials together. You’re going to want to land near to the bridge that’s southeast of Shifty Shafts and northwest of Fatal Fields. Grab a weapon and some materials here, and then follow the edge of the river south from the bridge, over the brick wall, and towards the little cliff edge.

If you’ve already seen the week 9 loading screen and have spotted the banner hiding away in the image, you’ll be aware that it’s up against a wall once again.

What you’re going to want to do here is look for the cliff edge just south of the wall, drop down, and then look for the other, lower ledge next to where the slope up is from the river. Build a ledge with materials just off the top of this lower ledge right across to the end. As you’re doing this, Fortnite’s week 9 secret banner should appear. Press and hold X on Xbox One, Square on PS4, or E on PC in order to interact with and pick up the secret banner, and that’s all there is to it.
