FIFA 19: How to Skip Cutscenes

How to Skip Cutscenes in FIFA 19

Recommended Videos

The beautiful game may be best enjoyed in all of its splendor, but sometimes you just want to get on with it and jump past all of the cutscenes that seem to pop up at the most inappropriate times. We’re here to play football, dammit, not watch a bloody movie! (That last sentence should be spoken in the thickest British accent for full effect.)

Fortunately, you can skip ahead past the cutscenes quite easily in FIFA 19. To do so, you need only hold down the Square button on PS4, or X on Xbox One. That’s all it takes, and you’ll be able to continue on to score some goals… or possibly cop a red card and bring shame to your nation, depending on your skill level.

It’s such a dandy little feature, it makes you wish that more games would follow their example and allow us to skip past cutscenes whenever we’re not in the mood. Hopefully more triple A titles will take this cue moving forward.

One thing you shouldn’t skip, however, is our splendid FIFA 19 wiki. It has everything you’ll need to go from a doe-eyed novice to an elite superstar. Whether you need some help mastering the basics, or if you’re ready to cut your teeth on more advanced techniques, you’ll find the answers you’re looking for in our extensive database. We’ll be adding more guides as we go as well, so keep it bookmarked if you want to keep up to date on all of the new content coming in!

Twinfinite is your destination for the best tips, hints and guides on gaming, anime, pop culture and more! We’re just as handy as Luis Suarez, and twice as pretty, to boot. Best of all, we don’t bite (unless you really, really want us to).
