Recommended Videos

FIFA 19 is the latest entry in EA’s long-running soccer series, bringing in all of the class action on the field with a few new twists. Players can choose to play with their friends or play alone against AI. As with most games, you also have the choice to scale the difficulty in FIFA 19. If you’re having a rough time or simply want a more challenging experience, here’s how to change the difficulty.

Once you know where to find the option, changing the difficulty in FIFA 19 isn’t hard at all. What you’ll want to do is head to the main menu and use R1/RB to cycle through the different choices until you come across Customize. From there, simply look for Settings and select it before looking for the Game Settings.

After you’ve found it, scroll down to the second option on that menu to change the game difficulty level in FIFA 19. Just use the left or right thumbstick to switch between the various difficulty levels that suit your overall preference. There are various options you can choose from, and you can change it at any point in your FIFA 19 playthrough.

If you’re playing one of the single-player modes in FIFA 19, the game has a dynamic difficulty setting system that will recommend you turn it up if you’re constantly battering the AI 5-0, or turn it down if you’re struggling to really make any sort of mark on the game. You don’t have to accept its recommendations, but it’s a case of simply select the appropriate response when these dynamic difficulty notices pop-up on screen.

Aside from tinkering with the difficulty settings in FIFA 19, there are plenty of other ways you can adjust the game to your preference. Make sure to take a good look at the settings option and peek through all of the other options to make the most out of your game.
