It’s not clear from the announcement on the PlayStation Blog whether Everybody’s Golf VR is a brand new game or a VR spin-off of the 2017 game, but Sony has confirmed that “the controls for Everybody’s Golf VR are slightly different from earlier Everybody’s Golf entries.” You can play with either a Move controller, or with a Dualshock 4 as you usually would, which will probably be reminiscent of the golf part of Wii Sports, only more immersive.

Just as the standard game was, Everybody’s Golf VR is being developed by Clap Hanz, in association with Japan Studio. According to the announced, the changes that come with the VR version “not only does this make golf accessible to all, as one would expect from the Everybody’s Golf series, but for the first time ever in the series, players will be able to see the uneven terrain, read wind direction, and experience the nature of the golf course all with their own eyes.”

More details on the courses and VR features will be revealed in the new year but Everybody’s Golf VR will come to PlayStation VR in 2019.
