What the Install Size Is for Dragon Quest XI

The latest installment in the long-running — and much beloved— Dragon Quest series is here with Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Adored in Japan with a popularity that exceeds even Square Enix’s iconic Final Fantasy series, Dragon Quest is now set to become popular with western audiences, thanks to AAA production values of this latest title. Echoes of an Elusive Age is a far bigger and grander project than anything we’ve seen before in the franchise. It looks absolutely stunning and its packed with around 80 hours of content for players to enjoy. Given this ambitious new scale, you’re probably wondering what the install size is for Dragon Quest XI.

The game requires 30.2GB of system memory to install on PS4. For comparison, last year’s Assassin’s Creed Origins was 42GB to install, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was a tiny 13GB when downloaded onto the Nintendo Switch, so given that Dragon Quest is a graphically more conservative — but equally as impressive, in our opinion — game, that should go some way to highlighting just how much content the game is packing.

That’s all you need to know about what the install size is for Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. For more useful information, tips, and tricks on the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s wiki page.
