How to Access Collections in Destiny 2: Forsaken

Looking for how to access collections? We have your answer. Destiny 2: Forsaken adds a host of new quality of life (QOL) features that makes your general day-to-day of protecting the solar system much more tolerable and enjoyable. One new feature is an accessible collection, which is a compendium of basically anything you have ever looted in your time in Forsaken. It goes all the way from vanilla Destiny 2, to Forsaken. Literally everything. So in other words, if you looted a gun back last year, dismantled it right away, and never saw it again, you could once again retrieve it by paying some legendary shards and/or glimmer. Sweet right?

To access collections in Destiny 2: Forsaken, all you need to do is press Option/Menu (on PS4 and Xbox One respectively), to access your inventory. Two tabs over to the left of inventory is collections. From there, you can see all your weapons, armor, exotics, etc. that you have obtained, and ones that you haven’t. If you previously owned one, go to it and then press X/A to reacquire it.

There’s two important things to keep in mind about accessing your collection of armor and weapons in Destiny 2: Forsaken. First, it will cost you legendary shards, glimmer, and in the case of exotics, gunsmith materials, in order to get it back. Second, and most importantly, all the random roll items from Forsaken are not retrievable. When you dismantle those, that specific gun is gone forever. So while you’re pretty safe to dismantle any old Year One Destiny 2 gear and just get it back later if you want it, be more mindful about dismantling Forsaken gear.
