Electronic Arts is offering the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass completely free on all platforms for a limited time starting today.
The Premium Pass for Battlefield 1 contains all four expansions –They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse– alongside 14 Battlefield 1 Superior Battlepacks, 14 dog tags, and “priority position in server queues.” Each expansion contains multiple new maps, modes, weapons, and vehicles. This is the first time the entire pass has been given away for free, since EA has regularly offered each Battlefield 1 add-on for free throughout the year.
The pass can be downloaded through Origin on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One beginning today until Tuesday, Sept. 18. Players do not have to own the base game to claim it, but both the standard edition of the game and Battlefield 1 Revolution, containing the Premium Pass and a few extra items, will be on sale digitally for all platforms during the week. The Battlefield 4 Premium Membership is also available for free on PC.
The free offer is promoting the publisher’s upcoming Battlefield V, set to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Nov. 20. The game will not have a season pass like past titles, as developer Dice and EA have said all new content for Battlefield V will be coming as free updates.
