How to Wait and Pass Time in We Happy Few
We Happy Few may have entered early access a few years back, but now the full game is releasing, letting players explore its dystopic vision of an idyllic village. In this village, all the residents are forced to take a drug called Joy, which in their eyes turns the horrific living conditions into a serene, affluent city. You’ll play as three different characters in We Happy Few, and the game’s survival elements will, at times, necessitate that you need to wait, or pass time to wait for something to happen. Luckily, we’re here to tell you how to do just that.
The easiest way to pass time is to find a bed and interact with it, which will let you choose how many hours you want to sleep for. You’ll start the game with access to an underground safehouse, which also has a bed in it. This is by far the safest way to pass time, however, you also have the option of sitting on a bench and passing time. Keep in mind, of course, that the world of We Happy Few has a curfew and if you’re out and about when it hits it’ll become much harder to get around. We should also note that you can’t wait on a bench at all if curfew has hit. In addition to just waiting for certain times of day, waiting can be useful to help bad status effects, like food poisoning, to wear off, so make sure to take advantage of the feature.
It’s also important to keep in mind that you do have a time limit in We Happy Few, so waiting will take up some of your valuable time. Of course, if you die or run out of time, you can simply start once again in a brand new, procedurally generated town.
