Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate: How to Get a Palico

How to Get a Palico in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Recommended Videos

Just like in most of the other Monster Hunter games, you can get a Palico companion in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate as well. These little cat creatures can be extremely helpful when you’re playing solo, as they can heal you up when you’re injured and you don’t have time to heal, and they’re also great at picking up items and materials that you can claim at the end of quest. Here’s what you need to know about getting a Palico in the game.

Thankfully, you can get one right at the very start of your time in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. From the village, all you have to do is turn right and press the A button to go to the Palico Ranch. Go and talk to the Meowstress NPC, and she’ll get you started by letting you scout a Palico. From here, you can customize the way you want your dream cat to look. Once you’ve finalized your customization options, the Meowstress will get one for you. After that, head to the board in the Ranch and assign your new cat to one of your Palico slots. You can have up to two Palico with you at any given time in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. Later on, you can also go back to Meowstress and see if any other Palicoes are available for hire, or just scout for another one based on your customization preferences.

You can also play as one of these cat creatures yourself by switching over to Prowler Mode, and this lets you gather resources without having to worry about your pickaxes or bug nets breaking.

That’s pretty much all you need to know about getting Palicoes in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more information on the game.
