While the bulk of the fun in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, of course, comes from hunting monsters and using their different body parts to get powerful new armor and weapons, we all secretly take some pride in how our character looks in video games. As such, some Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate players may be wondering exactly whether it’s possible to change hairstyle in the game, to get something that’s just a bit more you. Here’s what you need to know to do exactly that in the game.

Well, the first things you’re going to want to do to change hairstyle in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is to make your way back to the village and head for your hut. Once you’ve gotten inside, you’re going to interact with the chest on the floor.

This allows you to change your character’s appearance in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, though, it’s worth keeping in mind that it’s not possible to change gender.

Upon interacting with the chest, simply navigate yourself through the different menus until you reach the hairstyle option. This can be found just in between the Voice and Clothing options. Cycle through the different chops and dos on offer, until you find one that’s just right for your character in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, confirm your choice by pressing A on your Nintendo Switch and then press B to back out of the chest. Once you’re back in your hut, you should find that your character is all set to adventure again with their fresh hairstyle.
