The PlayStation Plus free games lineup for August 2018 have been revealed and the highlight is Hangar 13’s Mafia III. Alongside the usual set of six games, there’s is an additional PSVR title and a Play Link title included for free. The full list of free game is:
- Mafia III, PS4
- Dead By Daylight, PS4
- Bound by Flame, PS3
- Serious Sam 3 BFE, PS3
- Draw Slasher, PS Vita
- Space Hulk, PS Vita
- Here They Lie, PSVR
- Knowledge Is Power, Play Link/PS4
The first six games will be available for free from Aug. 7 until the first Wednesday in September, while Here They Lie will be free until Oct. 2 and Knowledge Is Power can be downloaded until Nov. 6.
Mafia III sees you “play as Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam vet who comes back home after years of combat. When his surrogate family is wiped out by the Italian Mafia, Lincoln builds a new family and blazes a path of military-grade revenge through the Mafioso responsible.” Dead By Daylight is a multiplayer, 4v1 horror game that is similar to Friday the 13th: The Game.
When it comes to the additional games, Knowledge is Power is a quiz game that is played through your smartphone or tablet and Here They Lie is a creepy first-person horror game. For more on all the games, check out the PlayStation Blog.
