Fortnite Season 5: Week 8 Secret Star Location (Secret Banner)

Where the Week 8 Secret Star (Secret Banner) Location Is in Fortnite Battle Royale

Recommended Videos

Each and every week up until this point in Fortnite’s Season 5, we’ve been able to find a secret battle star upon completing all of the challenges for a specific week. By completing all challenges, players unlocked a loading screen which contained a hidden hint as to the location of the secret battle star each week. Week 8, however, mixes things up a bit in Fortnite with a secret banner. So let’s explain just exactly what’s going on.

Following last week’s challenges, players were finally able to complete the Road Trip series of challenges in Fortnite, unlocking the Enforcer skin in the process. As such, the secret battle stars that you got for completing a week’s challenges is no more. But there is something in place of the secret star in week 8.

Upon completing all of the week 8 challenges, you’ll unlock yet another loading screen, but this time you’re not looking for a star hiding, but a banner, instead.

Well, if you look just above the Drift character’s hand in the loading screen, you’ll see a banner icon faintly on the Tomato Temple wall. Head to this exact location at the temple, and you’ll find the hidden banner, aka. the week 8 secret star waiting for you to grab.

It’s worth noting that just because it’s a secret banner and not a battle star, that doesn’t mean it does anything different. It’ll still give you an entire tier on your Fortnite Season 5 Battle Pass for picking it up.

That’s all you need to know about the change from a week 8 secret star to a secret banner. For more tips, tricks, and information on Fortnite’s Season 5, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
