No Man’s Sky NEXT: How to Emote

How to Emote in No Man’s Sky NEXT

Recommended Videos

No Man’s Sky is making a big comeback with the NEXT update, making the game bigger and better than ever. While the massive update is free for users on all platforms, the game is finally coming to Xbox One for the very first time as well. Of course, the biggest addition is a full range of multiplayer options, letting you team up with friends or random strangers to explore planets, collect resources, battle creatures, and build your own base. With the new multiplayer feature, you can also switch to a third-person view, whereas before you could only play in third-person. As you might expect, you’ll also have the option to emote now.

Luckily using an emote is easy enough to pull off. All you need to do is hit down on the D-pad to select gesture, and then pick whichever emote strikes your fancy. At the moment we aren’t sure if you’re able to get more emotes, or if there’s any more available than what you start with. If we find out there are more emotes, we’ll make sure to update this guide. Of course, it’s very possible more could be added on with future updates and patches.

There are plenty of other new and exciting additions being made with No Man’s Sky NEXT. The way planets are procedurally generated and presented has been overhauled, to make everything seem more realistic and lifelike. Base building has also been overhauled, letting you construct bases anywhere you want instead of specific locations, even if that’s underwater or underground. If you want to see the very very long list of changes and patch notes, you can see everything in detail on the official website.
